Changes

  • The Heft and Balance from Dwarven Arms has been removed due to being SAD ( Single Ability Dependent ).  Using Con for attack and damage does not encourage players to focus more than one ability score and thats boring. 
  • Mountain Forged from Dwarven Arms, Keen Spirit from Elven Blades, and Dread Iron from Orcish Iron is now a once per long rest ability.  A goal of this design to create universal truths in your fantasy world by using abilities that are absolute, meaning they just happen, no saving throw.  This goes against 5e design philosophy. By limiting these abilities to once per long rest, these absolute abilities will feel less unfair to players used to the 5e play style.  Additionally this change prevents a level 11 fighter using a Elven Blade from almost never missing. 
  • Added “Chosen” ability to Elven Blades for fun and flavor.
  • Make Dread Iron "The next time a creature wounded in this manner regains hit points they become poisoned until the end of their next turn.” Because if you are a player, inflicting a level of exhaustion on your opponent is either useless in practice or really OP if a party of 6 players all have Orcish Iron.
